SYSTEMATIC COATING, COMBINED FUNCTIONS
For CustomPaper, we can utilise a range of coating technologies to suit your application: extrusion coating and lamination, dispersion curtain coating, or direct coating during the paper-making process. Depending on your requirements, these processes can also be combined.
This enables us to develop packaging materials with tailored barrier, sealing and surface properties. Front and back coatings, as well as multi-layer systems, are possible, as is corona pre-treatment, which can improve the adhesion of further coatings.
The result: bespoke paper solutions. From the modular combination of tried-and-tested components to completely new developments.
DOCUMENTED RECYCLING PROPERTIES
Measurable circulatory capacity
CustomPaper is developed with a focus on the relevant PPWR requirements regarding recyclability and packaging design suitable for recycling. Depending on the product variant, FSC®-certified fibre raw materials (FSC-C020254) and recyclability assessments based on the CEPI/4evergreen approach may be used and documented.
This evidence supports your product assessment, technical documentation and customer communications. It relates specifically to the tested paper structure and material combination. The recyclability and PPWR compliance of the finished packaging also depend on its design, coating, printing, finishing and regional recycling systems.
